Teamsites Three teamsite templates are available to help manage individual projects. The templates vary in the amount of information, type of information, and level of detail each manages. Role–based Dashboards Depending on your specific needs, you may choose one or any subset of the four key role-based dashboards in rPrograms. The dashboards present different information, based on specific roles, including Project Manager, Portfolio / Program Manager, Executive, and Administrator. Design Migrator is a powerful tool that makes it fast, easy and cost–effective to migrate and update site designs in SharePoint 2007. It can be used with either WSS or MOSS to automate the design migration process, as well as to update and maintain existing pages within your SharePoint environment. Using Design Migrator, a user can deploy new site designs to existing sites or apply many other types of updates or changes – all managed in one step. For example, you can: - Deploy web parts or other features across your SharePoint environment to multiple pages and sites - Push a new logo, brand or custom look out to all sites, or add a specific web part to specific sites - Migrate SharePoint 2003 pages into SharePoint 2007 and enable the full feature set of 2007. With Design Migrator, these types of activities shift from slow, manual, resource–intensive processes to a quick and easy process that does not require any development or custom code. And you can apply these types of updates to a single site, group of sites, or all your sites. Design Migrator provides the ability to scan target sites and generate reports and logs before, in process, and after the changes have been made. It also offers the ability to revert the solutions, sites, or pages, back to their original form, allowing users to selectively decide what pages to change, what resource files to include, and the scope of the site that has changed. Design Migrator is a 32–bit Windows application that is included in the CorasWorks Workplace Suite for SharePoint 2007. You can also purchase it separately, licensed on a per server basis. |
